Glenrothes Central and Thornton ward by-election

This election will be held on Thursday 24 April 2025.

There is one seat up for election, and you can choose from five candidates.

    This election uses Single Transferable Vote.

    Rank the candidates by your preference: 1, 2, 3… You don't have to rank all the candidates, but you must at least mark your first choice.

  • Voting by post

    The deadline to apply for a postal vote for the elections taking place on 24 April 2025 was 08 April 2025. You can apply for a postal vote in future elections.

    If you have a postal vote, your local council will send your postal voting pack around three weeks before polling day.
